about
This track was written by myself and Peter Brown as part of the process that created both this album and his "Music For Trains" record and is the single that, for me, brings the two records together. We wanted it to have a big 70's feel so everything is recorded live, no plug-ins, no editing, just performances.
lyrics
Remake You (Miracle Grows)
Thinking of the reason
While Looking down on
Spiral in to colour
Like the dreams I’ve shared with you
One foot after the other
Till I know where you will go
Take Time
Find the answers
All the ways I’ve treated you
As I took down the life we had
Where we build our home
All the days and delights with you
The miracle
Grows while I just call your name
I know your eyes and I
Feel the same
Seeing is believing
When I think of you
Invisible the ceiling
The sky up there is blue
Did you find those answers?
And how’d they make you feel?
Please don’t stop me know
Lets try and make this real
You dreamt to catch the man
Who seemed to me like other guys
No way to wistfully try to believe and then disguise
I will try to remake you
And when he bats his eye will you be scared and run a mile
Or will you pick and give a smile just for a while
I will always forsake you
There are no words to shape you
So I go and I pull you in
But I push you out cause I
Feel the same
