Darkest Eye 05:00
Darkest Eye Your open mouth Nothing came out Just sign what you see And I'll try to believe You never meant to say those things all the pain that those words bring I'll stay strong I cannot listen for long The more you talk the more I feel And now it's time I can reveal What went wrong we've had all our fun And you took more than you could borrow With your darkest eye To be alone When all the love has flown With what you had there should be plenty With your darkest eye You couldn't see How it could be Head in the clouds Living a dream felt awkward trying to point it out It only made you scream and shout I tried to belong But they moved you along Aspiration killed you first Then you only made it worse And who knows Why you suffered in silence And why chain Whats never even there Don't feel so judged and you will see again See it bright and start to care I cannot take you there

Kicking Time Away It seems to me that love is holding me down You're not around me when I want you love, and need your love Your not around No conversation Just a room full of the memories Of our yesterday How I could be the groom And you my lady All my life kicking time away An empty room and all perfume is all you've left me So quietly I try to calm myself And heal myself Your not around No conversation Do you feel there's another way We could heal together Won't you please just tell me What you rememebr

Be Free 02:58
Be Free She's a little girl Special flower Burning up inside I won't allow her In a mans world She craves the power But what is killing her Is that it devours All you can see Takes the best years from you When you should be So tell the world what you will be Cause when you get there You'll be free He's no good for you Took me hours To explain to you Why monies powerless All that it's done for them He's bringing it to you Changed my little girl in to someone who Cannot see The only ones who can Are the ones who are free So show the world What you can be Cause when you wake up to late to change You'll journey off in to the world And I will not see you again It's time for you to find your own way I will believe until the end At peace and home again You'll always have a friend i just want you r happy ending Cause when you look back it's the end You'll be free.

Buying Time 03:07
Buying Time Up to me knees and Over my head I try to take comfort from Things that you said I keep my own company I've found, it's enough My burnt ears are healing I'll buy myself a little time To widen the road I'll buy myself a little smile Just happy to know I'm chasing at shadows For most of the day There's many good reasons Why I away If you'd have listened I would have led you there More hassle to leave you I'll buy myself a little time To widen the road All by myself most of the time But happy to know

Beyond The Glass Caught buy the sound Beyond the glass I've waited up for the lunch this time You could have asked How long does it take To measure up I think I need a bit more time An awful lot So hear I find myself Just getting along Surrounded by the voices Way too many choices here I thought I'd land on my feet No trouble at all Blinded by presumption But what do I really know at all? Beyond the glass I thought that I knew The answers to But it turned out that I misheard While the questions grew So now I've found myself By getting along I don't listen to the voices Waiting for the choices to clear I thought I'd land on my feet But didn't we all All of us doubting something But what do we really know at all Beyond The Glass

Little Lady 01:53
Little Lady My dreams are not the same as they once were So many things have changed But not with her All those crazy fads have come and gone This ladies still the same She's still the one So Please come back to me My little lady I don't think we're done I'm not out of fun Don't think of where I'd go Or where I'd be If you would lay your roots Right here with me I've only ever said that you the one Don't complicate what should be having fun

about

These collection of songs encompass a period of great change, loss and development, and the emotions that these experiences entail. Recorded over 18 months the songs have really developed in to what they were meant to say.
I hope that there is something inside it that will ring true to most, if not everyone. In making it I have grown and hope it is the first of many.
Thank you
